By stimulating the pituitary gland to release more enodgenous growth hormone (GH), tesamorelin increases levels of insulin-like growth factor. Once released, GH acts on multiple tissues including the liver, adipose tissue, and muscle. Through these combined pathways, tesamorelin helps reduce visceral fat, improve body composition and support metabolic regulation.
